CALISTA'S POINT OF VIEW

The new babies were not very good sleepers.  I had them in the same room just like the previous kids, but these two would not sleep if they were in the same room.  They both cried a lot.  It made me so sad to see them like this.

Rose finally took Flame and brought him into the girls nursery.  It seemed to work because he fell asleep right away.

Blaze was not so easily calmed so she fed him some warm milk.

He fell asleep on a nice full stomach and snored away.  I guess we found a solution.

I got straight to work getting pregnant again.  It was quite easy since I knew who the father was going to be.  After this pregnancy, I would have to find some new and willing "contestants."  I arrived on time but Sunny was running late so I waited at the Colore house with two of his siblings, Lilac and Clement.

Clement tried flirting with me but I knew better than to flirt back.  After a few minutes of playing along, I told him to remind me to tell his brother that there was no commitment in the challenge and I couldn't have any commitment until the challenge was over.  He got the hint and stopped trying to flirt.
"By then I'll be old and gross and you won't want me anymore," I added for good measures.

Finally, at 9:00 Sunny came home from a busy day at work.

We quickly drove over to my house and I reviewed the rules with him.

"Quick, easy, no commitment.  Got it," he affirmed.

When we got to my room and shut the door there was a moment of awkward silence so I asked him what his astrological sign was.

"Capricorn," he told me.

He knew I wanted to get going so we hopped into bed right away and the sound of lullaby drifted passed us.

He left immediately.  I knew I wasn't going to have triplets this time because we already had too many people in the house.  Even if Rose left the most I could expect would be twins again.  I took out all the food that Rose had cooked.  The meals had been left in the refrigerator a bit too long and had gone bad.  I was in a good mood because birthday's were coming around the corner.

"It's your birthday!" I said soothingly to the little ones.  Blaze just gurgled back at me with a gummy smile.

Clement's babies went first.  Flame, baby 16, didn't have his father's skin tone, eyes, or hair.  Instead he had my skin tone, eyes that were a lovely shade of light brown (amber?), and my increasingly ever-so-popular blue hair.  Mother would be proud.  Blaze, baby 17, who did inherit his father's skin tone, didn't get any of his father's other unique features.  He had blond hair and blue eyes.

I was beginning to notice that my parent's genes were very strong with my kids and that the father's genes were never as strong.  It seemed as though it was a rare occurrence that the babies would get their father's genes.  The thing about this challenge is that the babies should be unique because the father's should be unique but it did not seem to be so in my case.  Obviously they were unique but not much with their hair and eyes.  That was fine with me.  I loved all my kids even if they all turned out to be identical, it just wasn't very interesting to the public.

Sienna and Scarlett, babies 14 and 15 both grew out their hair long and wavy.

Jacob, baby 13, grew up too.  Rose decided not to.  She still wanted to stay in the house longer so I let her.

After the party, I went out to buy some groceries.  My sister Alicia was there.  We talked for a while about our kids until it began to get dark and she had to go home.

I suddenly felt sick and frantically looked for a bathroom but it was too late.  All of the nights dinner went out onto the pavement.  I quickly looked up, embarrassed but no one seemed to have noticed.  Phew!

I can never get over how cute the little toddlers are when they play with their toys.  The smiles on their faces melt my heart every time!

Scarlett and Sienna played a long game of tag that lasted very late into the night.  Scarlett wanted to keep playing but Sienna was tired and discouraged.

"I don't want to play tag Scarrllleeettttttt!!!!  I'm not winning," she complained.

She had been complaining for quite a while now and Scarlett agreed that they postpone the game.  While Sienna went in, Scarlett stayed outside to play on the playground.

The next day was school.  As the other kids finished getting ready, Scarlett was still eating her breakfast (macaroni and cheese) out on the patio.

When she finished her meal and started walking out to the bus I saw her stop as if in pain.  She came back to me.

"Moooommmm!  I don't feel good," she moaned.

At first I thought she was fibbing just to get out of going to school because it was the first day back from  break.  Then I felt her forehead and it was burning.  It must have been because her playing last night.  She had a fever so I allowed called the school and told them that Scarlett Smith would be absent.  The expressed their condolences and hung up.

I sent her straight to bed after giving her some Benedril, much to her disappointment, but right as she laid her head on the pillow, she fell fast asleep.

While Scarlett was resting and the kids were at school, I needed to give all my attention to the toddlers.  They were both very hungry and Blaze was screaming and pounding the high chair tray.

"Blaze, I know you are hungry but please stop the pounding or you won't get what you asked for.  Behave like you brother, Flame.  He is being patient," I explained to Blaze.

Blaze was very smart and seemed to understand what I had said.  He calmed down right away and got a bottle of chocolate milk and after that, leftover chicken strips and carrots but no dessert.  Flame received his meal of leftover Spaghetti-O's as well as some yogurt, and some ice-cream afterward.

I didn't see Jacob come home that night but he had apparently brought something with him.

"What is that?"  I practically screamed, very surprised when I nearly tipped it over with my arms as I stretched.  It was an alien to this house, a potted plant.  I knew I was over-reacting but I was frustrated with all the stressful events that had gone on earlier this week plus I had a suspicion about his whereabouts when he went out and that he was much like his father.

"I am borrowing it from Griffin Smith," he said, and I gave him a funny look. "He's Brendan's kid with whoever that girl's name was (Claire Swan)."

"In know who he is, Jacob," I said coldly," I just want to know why you took his plant. You know stealing is wrong, even if it is just a plant I don't like you doing it!"

"Whoa!!  Mom, slow down, when did I ever say anything about stealing?" he asked.

"First of all, why would we need that? Secondly, I know you.  I've known all your habits and everything about you for your entire life.  You think I would know that you didn't borrow that plant because why would you need it."

"But mom..." Jacob started but I interrupted him.

"Just return the stupid thing, what made you think that you needed it anyway?"  I had enough authority over him that he knew not to mess with me.

He returned the plant to Griffin, who apparently didn't even notice that it was gone, right away.  I knew I had kind of blown up on him and I felt very bad.  It wasn't his fault that he liked taking things.  It was in his blood (his father was the repoman for heaven's sake).  I decided to apologize to him when he returned.  But he didn't.

JACOB'S POINT OF VIEW

After I returned that stupid plant, I felt kind of good inside but I still felt terrible for taking it.  Anyway, I was really annoyed with mom.  I don't think she really understands me.  Here's why I took the plant:

Earlier that week, I had visited my older half-sister Elvira.  She was like me because her father wasn't always like in society like mine.  She started talking to me about her father, Lazarus Markum, and how he never wanted to see her and she seemed pretty upset.  I'm not the kind of guy who can help .  I told her my father never wanted to see me either.  Then I had to go to school.

Then yesterday, Griffin and I had P.E. class together.  He is a lot more athletic than me and I am a bit overweight (thanks dad) so it is harder for me to do many of the sports.  Griffin was, like, a pro and I got jealous.  He's never mean though, it's just that I have anger issues (that's what mom tells me).  Therefore, I stole his plant because it was right by his window sill and easy to grab.  Then I hung it up at home when mom wasn't there.

I had hoped she wouldn't notice but as you know, she did.  I guess she knows me better than I thought she did.  I was hoping that she would think I had bought it (her birthday is coming up soon and I just thought I'd say it was a gift...).  Anyway, she should know that it isn't really my fault.  My dad was a repoman, I'm just following in his footsteps.  After my fight with her, I was pretty mad.  I wandered off to the park where I saw the Colore siblings, as mom had been calling them.

We talked briefly but I was restless and didn't want to sit there talking with TWO men (Red and Sunny) who had done you-know-what with my mom.  Awkward.

I chose to go to the gym to let off some steam and maybe learn to control my weight better.  I had heard that they had many weight losing programs available for teens.  As I was about to walk up the stairs, Elvira's dad bumped into me on accident.  Of course this had to happen.  I remembered how hurt Elvira was, the fight I had just had, sucking at sports in gym class, and I just exploded.

"What's wrong with you buddy?"  I questioned him with my meanest voice.

"What?" Lazarus said, looking around.

That wasn't the reaction I had hope for.

"Yeah, I'm talking to you.  How could you hurt my sister like that?" I said.

"I have no idea what you are talking about, I have never hurt anyone.  I'm learning to control my anger," he responded.  He looked mad but he didn't advance toward me.  I was quite annoyed, he was supposed to be getting furious at me.  I was supposed to be chopped liver by now.

"I'm talking about Elvira, my half-sister, the one who you never visited," I responded.
He just stood there looking at me.

"You look nothing like Ella.  Are you sure your in the right place?" he said, he was positively puzzled.

"Her name is EL-VIR-A.  She was part of a 100 Baby Challenge, remember?  You had her with Calista Smith but you never visited her at all and you yelled at our mom."  I started getting very angry.  I felt very tough right now.  I wanted a fight.

A smile most evil came to his face and he looked pretty scary.

"You know what, kid, you have no right to humiliate me like this.  I've already been to prison a few times and I DON'T want to go there again.  Got it?" he answered coldly.

Boy, he was good, I wanted to be just like him.

"I also have a feeling that this conversations isn't even about Elvira," he added.  "I think you are just really stressed and mad and you just want to pick a fight with someone as evil looking as me.  Am I right?"

He was REALLY good.  I stared into his eyes, they were white as fire, literally.

Someone in the background was taking out their cellphone.  I was really worked up now.  I glanced up at the clock, it was passed curfew.  I felt exhilarated and I definitely was not going to tell this story to my mother.  Then... the police came.  Darn.

CALISTA'S POINT OF VIEW

I got a phone call, Jacob had been caught by the police.  Great, I thought, what has he done this time, I hope it doesn't have to do with the fight....  Right when I heard the police car come I ran out.  First I told the policeman that I was very sorry.  Then I made Jacob tell the policeman he was sorry.  I was humiliated.  I had quite the talk with him.

"I lost track of time mom!" Jacob argued.

"Because of this little act of yours I am not going to let you go out without my permission.  If you do this again, I swear I will ground you for 3 months from video games and the t.v. and you will have to do many more chores than you've been doing," I threatened, there was a wobbly tone to my voice, as if I was going to cry but I carried on.

"I didn't expect this out of you and I am not happy, especially since you stole that plant earlier."  Then I surprised him (and myself) by giving him a big hug.  "I am so glad you made it home safely, I was so afraid I had lost you.  Just please promise me you won't do it again."

"I promise.  And thanks for that, things just haven't turned out the way I want them but I'll try to control myself," Jacob promised, and I think he really meant it.

Rose's birthday was coming up and school was over for the summer putting everyone was in a good mood.  I decided to throw a party.  I invited anyone who could come.  It was a weeknight so not very many people could come due to their jobs, though.  The younger girls were very excited as they rushed home.
Here's the party set up.  I've decided to make a permanent party area.  I called a company to fill in the pond, we never used it much anyway.

Jacob tended the minibar.  I didn't even know how he learn to do that and I didn't want to know.

To my complete and utter surprise, Peeta Mellark, Rose's father from the future, arrived at the party before everyone else had arrive!  I was shocked.

"Peeta?!  Oh my gosh, I'm so glad you were able to come.  I totally wasn't expecting you!"

"I know, but I wouldn't want to miss my own daughter's birthday.  I feel really bad about not visiting her as she grew up."

"Naw, that's fine.  She understands your situation."

We talked for a long time and I showed him some of Rose's baby pictures.  I pretty much showed him her whole life up until now.

Afterwards he asked, "So, where is the birthday girl?"

"She's upstairs getting ready, I'm sure she'd be glad to see you!  You'd be proud of her, she's beautiful, kind, smart, and every other thing that makes a young woman."

"Well, I have you to thank, for raising her and everything."

"Ohh!" I blushed.

Then I directed Peeta upstairs to where Rose was getting ready.  Don't worry, I knew she was ready, it's not like I would let Peeta go up there while she was changing.

Then Rose saw him.  She hadn't really seen her dad, like most of her siblings.

"Wow, so you are who I got my eyes from."  She said when she saw him.

They hugged and he gave her a big kiss on the forehead.

"I'm so glad you came," she whispered.

Time for the party.  We had to install big lights because it was getting dark.

Everyone was excited for the celebration.

Peeta was definitely the cheeriest on there.

Rose became a young adult and she was gorgeous.  As a young adult, I knew she would make it very well in the world.  Her traits are natural cook, loner, artistic, technophobe, and friendly.  Her sign is Cancer and her lifetime wish is to be a Celebrated Five-Star Chef.

"Thanks for the great party you guys!" Rose said happily hugging everyone.

She chose to stay until the baby was born.  She really wanted to see what he/she would look like.

We had a big mess to clean up after the party.  While Jacob handled the outdoor clean up, us girls clean up the inside.

"Ooohh!  Mom, I hope you have a little girl," she exclaimed, a few days after the party.  "You could name her after another type of flower such as Dandelion or Violet, like me!  Or Marigold, if she comes out orange or yellow skin!  Actually, on second thought, I think that's what I'll name my children if I ever have them."

"Already thinking that far ahead, sweety?  Relax, first you need to find a husband.  That shouldn't be too difficult for you, should it?  I mean, remember all those boys who wanted to take you to prom?"

"Yeah, that was pretty scary wasn't it?  I'm glad I chose to just go with my girlfriends instead!  We had such a fun time."

Not too many day's passed when the baby decided to come.  I drove all the way to the hospital.

Move out of the way, lady!

I came out of the hospital with a baby 18, a boy.  I named him Xanthe Xavier, which means yellow or beautiful blond, although I'm not sure that last part of the definition fits him because I don't know what color hair he has.

Sunny accompanied us on the way home.  When we got home he said, "Wow, little Xanthe looks so much like my brother, Clement,"  and I had to agree.  He still had to get used to the idea of being a father.  Xanthe gave a gummy smile.  Sunny attempted to smile back.  Uhhh... at least he tried.

Despite all the back pain I had experienced, the result was definitely worth it.

A few days after little Xanthe was born, Rose moved out on her own, ready to start a new family and find a fitting career.  First she needed to find a nice man...

FAMILY UPDATE

Babies one through six were doing pretty well and I have already updated on them so let's start with my seventh baby, Elvira.  She fell in love with a co-worker of hers names Elias Kuan.  Elias said he fell in love at "first scare."  After that, they couldn't stay away from each other.

Elias had pale green skin, fiery orange hair, and bright orange eyes.

He and Elvira claimed that they didn't want to have kids but one thing led another and... they had twins!  Ella (hint, Elvira's father always thought that Elvira's name was Ella so that's what they named her, it's their little joke) and Evie.  Both girls had their father's pale green skin.

They grew up to be toddlers.  Ella had Lazarus Markum's cool evil looking red and black hair and dark grey eyes.  She also had Elvira's face and eye shape.  Evie had black hair and our family's popular blue eyes.  Her eyes were more round like her father's.  Wherever the black hair came from, it looked great with her skin tone.

Next, babies 8 and 9, Jordan and Peyton, were also moving on.  Two of the Colore siblings had caught their eye.  Jordan married Lilac Colore and Peyton married Clement Colore.  The men proposed at the same time.  Of course, the women agreed.  I was overly emotional when they announced the news to me over the phone.

Later on, Peyton and Lilac were both pregnant.  The two couples were with each other every step of the way through the pregnancies.  They were all very prepared because they read the pregnancy books and they asked me for advice.  Who would have ever thought!

Months later, Lilac and Jordan welcomed a little boy named Grogan.

Within days after Grogan's birth Peyton and Clement gave birth to a baby girl named Kisha.
When he grew up, he looked a very much like Jordan.  Although he didn't have Jordan's gold eyes, he had greyish eyes, Jordan's brown hair, and of course, Jordan's skin tone.

Kisha had her father's clementine skin tone, orange hair, and greenish eyes.  Her hair was stunning.  When I finally got to meet her, I noticed it had layers of orange, yellow, and pale orange.  It was also very shiny and thick.

Phineas and Ferb, babies 10 and 11, were also starting families.  Phineas married Isabella Garcia-Shapiro.  Isabella had blueish-black hair and deep blue eyes.

Ferb married Vanessa Doofenshmirtz, the daughter of Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz.  Vanessa had brown hair and dark blue eyes.

Ferb didn't want any children, he and Vanessa chose to pursue their careers  but Phineas and Isabella had a cute little boy, named Hugh.  He had his father's brown hair and he had the popular Smith blue eyes.

Isabella made his hair look just like his father.  See a resemblance?  Hugh was my 15th grandchild!

NOTE

The names of the sims that Phineas and Ferb (babies 10 and 11) marry are based off of the Disney show Phineas and Ferb.  Recently, I have been watching the show with my little sister.

Another note is that I know the "fight" between Jacob and Lazarus was kind of dumb and didn't make much sense.  I wasn't really sure what to do, all I knew was that I wanted Jacob to get into a fight.  I just kind made a story out of the pictures I had so I can understand why you might think that it's sort of confusing and a dumb and random thing for Jacob to get mad about.   Sorry if this explanation doesn't make sense either. :D
