Babies 41, 42, and 43: A Big Birthday Bash!

Baby Keaon was a great baby.  He loved to sleep which was nice for me.  That way I could go other places… like my mom and dad’s birthday party!

I arrived right on time and right away I congratulated my father on his accomplishments in work.  He has been working in the education career and recently he had been working on getting a Spanish and Chinese Immersion school together and it’s been successful so far!  But of course, with him becoming an elder he has to retire.  Or at least it's encouraged that he retire.  It’s pretty much the same situation for my mom too except she works in the business field.

The lucky birthday boy and girl, my mom and dad, Katherine and James!  With everyone around them they stepped up to the cake looking as confident as ever.

“Happy Birthday to you.  Happy Birthday to you!  Happy Birthday dear Katherine and James!  Happy Birthday to you!”  We all sang.

Someone started to sing “How old are you…?”  but quickly stopped when no one else joined along.

With that, my parents blew the candles out and made their wishes.

Everyone cheered [Sorry about the terrible formal wear from the guests.  I deleted a lot of custom content in hopes to speed up my game so those terrible dresses replaced the original dresses].

Mom became an elder first.

Dad went next.  He looked just as handsome as he had been when he was young.  I knew mom and dad would be happy.  They’d finally be able to enjoy the chances to go traveling and spending more time with their friends.  They would be able to let go of work and embrace life as it came to them.

Everyone who attended the party got a big slice of chocolate and vanilla marble cake.  It was homemade and delicious.

As I was getting my cake I looked around at all the familiar faces.  There was one face, though, that I didn’t quite recognize but for some reason it still looked somewhat recognizable.

I went up to the man and introduced myself.  While I talked to him I noticed his long black hair and his pale eyes.

“Hi!  I’m Calista Smith, daughter of the birthday couple.”

“Calista Smith?  My mom has mentioned you, I think.”  The handsome stranger said.

Then I knew who it was, his eyes said it all.

“You’re Destiny Rose’s child aren’t you?”  I exclaimed.  “Duncan?  Right?”

“YES!!!”  He announced excitedly.  “I’m the second child in her 100 Baby Challenge.  You probably know her cause you’re doing a challenge too aren’t you?”

“Wow, I never expected to find you here.  How do you know my parents?”

So we went on for  a while, getting to know each other.  I found out that his mother, Destiny, was already one third of the way through her challenge!  She was going so quickly through her challenge.  It was impressive.  I knew her but I had never met her in person.

I was planning on leaving when I remembered to talk to mom.

“Congrats mom, on making it to retirement.  What are you going to do now that you have all the free time and money in the world?”

“Well, your father and I were planning on traveling the world, throwing a few parties, and getting a lot of sleep.”

“Good plan mom, I’m so glad you’re finally going away from work.  You definitely deserve a break.”

“Thanks sweetie.  Now that I’m more free I can also spend more time with the grandkids.  Speaking of grandkids, are you pregnant with your next batch?”

Oh my gosh, I completely forgot about my challenge.  I started to panic when I turned around and saw Duncan standing close by, finishing his cake.  He looked up at me and smiled.  I smiled back just as a bell went off in my head.  Ding!  I would ask him.  I knew he would agree since his mother was in a challenge and if he didn’t agree I knew I’d be able to cajole him into it anyhow.  I quickly hugged my mom and ran off to ask Duncan if he would participate.

Fortunately, everything went according to plan, he gladly accepted my proposal, and we walked to the car to my house.

“So,” Duncan wondered, “Which baby are you on?”

“This will be baby 41.”  I responded.

"Impressive," he said nodding.

I drove calmly over.  Duncan was very good at conversation so our car ride was not at all awkward.

When we got home I quickly changed into my swimsuit while the kids gave Duncan a tour of our house.  We weren’t going to conceive in the bed tonight.  I had a different plan.

“Holy cow, Calista.  Aren’t you a beauty.  And after 40 kids?  I still don’t get how you challenge mothers stay so slim.”  Duncan said amazed.
“Follow me.”  I whispered into his ear.

I grabbed his hand to pull him along with me, toward the hot tub out back.

“I didn’t bring a swimsuit.”  He said as his excuse but he reluctantly followed me out to the private hot tub.

He stripped down to his boxers and settled into the hot tub with me.  He gently put his arm around me, feeling for my waist as I wrapped my arm over his shoulders.

We both leaned in and met in the middle for a kiss and my body shivered from the heat of the hot tub and the longing for the kiss and what was coming next.

“So, should we do it?”  I asked.

“No, I could just kiss you forever.”  He responded and he pulled me in for some more.

This time we got a little more intimate.  He caressed my body and started undoing the strings of my swimsuit.  I guess that was a yes.

Afterwards we made out even more (if that’s even possible?).  I knew I probably shouldn’t have, especially since this was the son of my best friend.  I knew that the challenge wasn't about the love of a man but for the babies that had, were, and would grow in my body.  I was sort of stretching the rules of the challenge.  But I couldn't help it.

Duncan helped us celebrate birthdays!  Everyone was growing up.

Regardless, Harold and Dawn grew up well.    Harold, baby 35, as a young adult.  He was still dating his girlfriend Hayley Bryson (don't worry, she and her brother grew up too) and his hairstyle was still the same.  He sort of had that sporty surfer look going on.

Dawn, baby 36, as a young adult.  She was still dating her high school sweetheart, Bill Bryson.  She decided to keep her hair long and she straightened out the curls she had had as a teen.

Keaon, baby 40, got my blue hair and either his father's green eyes or my family's green eyes.  It's very hard to tell because they are quite similar in color.  He was a cutie though!

Our family photo before the young adults leave.  As you can see, Amanda kept her same hairstyle and Clarensis and Cornelius aged into handsome young men.

Later, Cornelius fired up the grill and cooked hot dogs for us while Clarensis taught Keaon to walk.  The smell of roasting hot dogs permeated through the night air.

The next day, after the kids had gone to school, Keaon wore his bunny suit and crawled around the play room.  He loved the play tunnel with the big bug face on it.  I pulled it out to the middle of the room so he could crawl under it.

Clarensis and Cornelius had just started working on a big project for school.  I kept Keaon occupied so that they could concentrate.  Keaon just adored his big brothers.

I checked the mail and got an invitation in the mail from my son Jordan, baby 8.  It was a party at his house that night.  I was going to call him to say I couldn't go when the teens came rushing toward me.

"Mom," Cornelius said.  "Clarensis and I want you to go to the party.  We can take care of Keaon."

"Are you sure, I really don't have to go to this,"  I started but they cut me off.

"No mom, you go ahead, you deserve a break."

"Oh boys, you're the best children a mother could have."

I reached out to hug them and surprisingly they hugged me back.  I guess it was okay as long as I didn't do it in front of their friends.  So I drove out to Jordan's house feeling grateful and calm.

Many relatives were their including my daughter Flora, baby 5.  She still looked beautiful but her hair was different.  She looked a bit more tired and a little older.

"Flora!  I haven't seen you in a long time darling.  How's it been?"  I exclaimed.

"Oh mom!  I finally know what it's like to have teenager (she has two sets of twins).  Gosh, I hope I wasn't as hard to take care of as they are to me.  They always want to drive everywhere but they aren't yet old enough to get their licenses."

I just laughed along with her.  We had a nice conversation.  Then I went downstairs and at autumn salad with Flora.  It was delicious.

CLARENSIS' POINT OF VIEW

"Can you say blue, Kea?"

"No."

"Come on, just repeat what I said."

"No, I want you to play with me first."

"..."

"Play with ME!!!"

"Fine."

CALISTA'S POINT OF VIEW

I talked to the many people that were there.  I hadn't seen most of them for a long time.

As I was about to leave, I bumped into my granddaughter Kisha.  She had grown so much since I had last seen her at her parent's other party a while back ago.

"Wow, Kisha, I haven't seen you for a long time!  When didn't you get so big?"

"Well, right when puberty started."

We laughed and then I got into my car and drove home.

After a long period of time, Keaon was finally potty trained.  He was telling me all about it.

"I get to wear big-boy pants!"  He exclaimed in his screechy voice.  He was so cute.

"You're right Kea, you're so smart!"

I set him down and he ran off to play.  I painted a picture of him playing so that I could hang it up o the wall.  I had noticed that the walls in this house were completely bare of paintings.  By the time I finish the challenge, I know that walls will be full of paintings and pictures of the kids and by the kids.

Clarensis practiced his mixology skill.  He tried it and I head him gag.  Apparently it didn't taste good.

"Hey brother, watchya up to?"  Cornelius asked.

"I'm trying to make the perfect drink to go with my perfect sandwich over there."  Clarensis gestured to the counter.

"Here.  Let me try."  Cornelius said as he grabbed some glasses.  After a few minutes he was done with his "mixology-ing."

Clarensis taste-tested it.

"This tastes just as bad as mine.  I'll just get water I guess."

"Eww!  You're right.  Man, that's foul stuff!  No, I think I can make something better."  Cornelius started to say.

Clarensis was already washing his mouth out with super minty toothpaste.  I couldn't imagine how bad it must have been.  Cornelius was still in the background trying to make the perfect drink.

"A little of this... some of that...."

I was putting laundry away in the baby's room when I felt the contractions start.

Baby 41 was soon born.  It was a boy and I named him Reginald Duncan after his father and his father's father, Reginald Beckett.

I set him into the nursery next to my room.  I knew I would be having twins so when baby number 42 popped out I was not surprised.  It was a girl, just as Gina had predicted.  I named her Destiny Rose, after Duncan's mother, the beautiful Destiny Rose.

I brought her into another nursery so she and Reginald wouldn't wake each other up.  Then something alarming happened.  There was another baby.  I was ecstatic as I welcomed another baby girl into the world.  This was my fourth set of triplets.  Kimberley Rose was baby 43.  I named her after Destiny's mother (that would be Duncan's grandmother).

Our family photo.  Amanda will have a pretty big job on her hands when Clarensis and Cornelius grow up and leave the house and she'll be the only one in the house to help me with the triplets.  Maybe Keaon will help too, even though he will only be a child.

FAMILY UPDATE

Harold, baby 35, and Dawn, baby 36, married their high school sweethearts.  Harold married Hayley Bryson and Dawn married Bill Bryson (Hayley's brother).  They had a private wedding so I didn't attend but I heard it was wonderful.

Harold and Hayley weren't really interesting in having kids.  They both had the lifetime with to become a Super Star Athlete so they were mostly focused on their aspirations.  Dawn and Bill, however, were also interested in their careers but they wanted to give Bill and Hayley's parents, Hannah and James, at least one grandchild so they tried for a baby and conceived right away.

Dawn and Bill welcomed a healthy baby boy named Marc.  Then, another baby boy popped out, much to their surprise.  They named him Daniel.

Marc has his grandmother's red hair, his mom's green eyes, and his dad's pale skin.  Daniel has all of his mom's features.  He has Dawn's skin tone, blond hair, and green eyes.

NOTE

Thanks you Destiny Rose for Destiny's 2nd son, Duncan Rose, for being the father of TRIPLETS!!!!!  Congrats, it's been an honor Destiny!  Also, thanks for allowing me to use some of the names from your blog to names the triplets.  I hope it's okay.  I had fun picking out which of Destiny's relatives' names to use.  Thanks again!

Sorry I took so long to get this post out.  Like I (most likely) mentioned in a previous post, I have a lot of stuff to do now that it's nearing the end of the school year.  I hope/plan to get a post out by the end of the first week in June, before I go on my 2-week trip with my family.  And just an FYI, there probably won't be one during that time I'm on my trip.  June is kind of a busy month.  I'm just glad I was able to post this post.  I hope you like it and please comment!!!

P.S. - I just pre-ordered the Sims 3 Generations/Outdoor Living Stuff deal.  I'm so EXCITED!!!!!

Baby 40

Our first family photo ever (sorry I'm not looking, one of the boys was not behaving well).  Right after birthdays this time around I got one of the maids to snap this photo of everyone in the family.

Amanda, baby 39, didn't get any of her father's genes.  She had blue hair and blue eyes.

Beaumont became a young adult.

All the kids spent a lot of quality time doing the things they wanted to do before the new school year started.  The twin boys pursued their writing career.  To challenge them, I had given them a topic to write about.  I couldn't wait to read the two versions they would come up with.

Dawn worked on her cooking skills.

The entire family tried it.  The mac and cheese was a little bit dry but we all survived and told her it was great.  With that, she gave us a big smile and stood up a little straighter.

She and I cleaned up after the meal.  She was starting to get into mechanics so she helped me by fixing the dishwasher while I mopped the floor.

Like her father, Blake Sumner, Amanda was the happiest toddler there was.  She was constantly smiling and when she wasn't, she was laughing instead [I love this picture because a) it's super cute, b) it's super adorable, and c) who could resist a face like that?  Although, now that I look at it, it looks like she's angry].

I called up the son of a good friend of mine:  Catherine Bell.  Her 66th baby, Kaleb Bell, was who I was calling.

Kaleb had recently joined the army so he had shaved off all his long brown hair.  He had beautiful green eyes that looked like the color green that ran in my family [He used to look like this on my game.  Sorry Catherine, I didn't have the hair you made him have so I had to change it.  Then when I had deleted all of my CC the mohawk I made him have above was deleted and I forgot to change it/didn't realize I had to change it until I took the pictures].

I drove over to the adress he had spoken of.  There were many people there [do you recognize any of them?  They'll come up later...] so we took out business elsewhere.

He was very muscular (I think I saw Harold staring at Kaleb's biceps as we walked in).

"So, what's it like being the product of a baby challenge?"  I asked.

"It's okay now.  More people are used to the idea so it's not as strange as it used to be."  He replied.

It was a satisfying answer.

Jeez, enough with the chitchat.  He doesn't want to here it I scolded myself.

"Let's get to it,"  I said as I gave him a big hug.  He was warm and his chest was hard.  I could feel his heart beating underneath all that muscle.  Suddenly, he knocked me off my legs and scooped me up in his grasp as I clung on to dear life.  No one had done that before.  Pretty soon I trusted him and loosened up.  He was so stable and strong.  I could wait to get his clothes off and see what was underneath.

He carried me a short distance to the bed and gently set me down, kissing my forehead.  Then he lay down next to me and we proceded very lovingly I must say.

He left late that night.  As he was leaving I said, "wait!" and he stopped.  I had intended to give him a little good-bye kiss but it ended up being a full blown making out session on the front deck.  Finally, I was able to pull away and say good-bye properly.

Right when I walked in I was greeted by a grumpy, hungry baby.  Amanda threw a huge fit.  She was quite unhappy that I had taken so long.

I expertly consoled her and gave her a bottle of chocolate milk as an apology.  She accepted and guzzled it down.

I was very tired.  The kids were already going to sleep and it was nearly 11:30 p.m.

I aimlessly put Amanda to sleep and fell into my own bed when the clock struck midnight.

Unfortunately, me sleep was inturrupted at 3 by a mysterious clattering noise.  Cautiously I walked outside and saw a glimpse of someone or something walking into the garage.  A robber.

I quickly dialed 911 and the police were on their way.  Unfortunately they were a tad bit late and the robber, coincidentally name Robbie Bland stole my car!

As Robbie was walking away the police finally came.  Her name was Tia Rose.

She and the robber had a huge fight.  Unfortunately again, the robber won!  I was quite aggravated.  I was tired, it was 3 in the morning, there was a robber, and the police couldn't even do anything about it??  I began to question the police force of Sunset Valley.  They weren't that good were they?

Go after him!  I screamed in my head to Tia, who just stood there watching Robbie run away with my car.

Tia just stood there and then came up to me apoligetically.

"I'm sorry ma'am.  I couldn't get the robber this time but next time we'll see."  She said.

Next time?  Oh, there won't be a next time I thought angrily.  But I was too tired to complain.  I answered some of her dumb questions, assured her that I was all right, and went to bed.  I didn't even think twice about asking for some money to pay for the stolen car and she didn't give any.

I walked like a zombie into bed and fell asleep before my head had even hit the pillow.  All I remember thinking was that I hoped that kids hadn't heard or seen any of that.

My slumber was interupted this time by Amanda's screams for breakfast.  It's only 5 o'clock!  You didn't even sleep that long!  I made a mental note to put her to bed very early tonight.

But I somehow woke up anyway and fed her her a jar of mush.

I drank a cup of coffee which helped dramatically.  I was able to play with Amanda and I didn't feel tired.

"How's my little darling?  Huh?  You're so cute!  You're so cute!"  She laughed and it made me feel so warm inside.

I was even awake enough to play with her.  But somewhere inside of my brain I knew that I'd have a meltdown sometime.  I just didn't know when.

I was going to town to buy a housewarming gift for a new family who had recently moved in.

I was greeted by a beautiful woman.  Her name was Hannah Bryson.  She had a husband named James Bryson.  They apparently had two children, teens actually.  Their names were Bill and Hayley.  I soon found out that they went to school with Dawn and Harold.

Hannah spoke.  "Are you by any chance related to Dawn and Harold Smith?"  She asked me.
I told her yes.  "Wow!  My kids are dating your kids, did you know that?"

"No... I didn't.  Wow, that's cool.  Twins dating twins, huh?"  I truthfully wasn't very surprised about this.  In fact I had just assumed that my twins would start dating sometime.

"Yeah, that's pretty neat."  She replied surprised by my 'coolness' at the situation.

Suddenly the front door flew open and my teens and the bryson teens showed the very proof that they were together.  Gosh, they didn't even seem to know (or care) that I was standing within 10 feet away from them.

They did notice. Dawn smild and Harold winked at me.  They knew that it was alright with me.  Heck, I was woohooing with a bunch of different men.  There was nothing bad about a little crush for them.  Also, they had good grades so I was perfectly okay with them dating the Bryson twins.

After chatting for a while we left for home.  The teens still had to do their homework.  While making making a late dinner I overheard the conversation going on between Dawn and Clarensis:

Dawn:  Ugh!!  I can't get the correct answer to this problem.
Clarensis:  What's the problem?  I bet I could try.
Dawn:  I don't think you'll understand it.  I'm in AP stats, what makes you think you'll get it?
Clarensis:  Well, at school everyone calls me the 'math genius.'  It shouldn't be that bad.
Dawn:  Well... okay.  It's about hypothesis testing.  I am having trouble figuring out the correct hypothesis test for this problem.  I can't tell if it is a 2 sample z-test of a 2 sample t-test.  It's so hard.  And my test is next monday!  I just can't remember the formulas either.  Why did I sign up for this class?
Clarensis: ....
Dawn:  Clarensis?  What do you think?
Clarensis:  BRAIN NOT FUNCTIONING.  MALFUNCTION.  MALFUNCTION.  SHUTTING DOWN.
Dawn:   I assume that's a no then? (laughs)
Clarensis:  YES.
Calista from the kitchen:  Mr. Robot, I think it is best that you come and set the table if you can't do the homework.
Clarensis:  Coming mom!  (to Dawn)  Wow, am I glad I'm not in that class.
Dawn(laughs again)  Yeah!  You're so lucky.  I just hope I actually pass the exam.  Just go and set the table like mom asked.

[Sorry about the math related talk, I just took AP stats in school so I was trying to "use what I've learned" and sort of "apply it to real life" as the teachers always tell us to do].

A few seconds later Clarensis appeared at my side with a confused and relieved expression on his face.  I guess Dawn was getting tired of math because she went into my bedroom for an hour even after I told her dinner was ready. When she finally came out she told me that she had needed a makeover.

"When in doubt, give yourself a makeover" was her motto.

"Well, just make sure you go finish your homework after dinner missy."  I said in a teasing tone.

Harold took care of Amanda that night.  Amanda just giggled.  She was so proud to have her handsome big brother take care of her.

Afterward she pranced around the dining table repeating "Bwother Hawold wuvs me!  Bwother Hawold wuvs me!" while Harold cleaned up her high chair.  She was so cute!

The next day I found a group of rhino beetles walking around outside on our deck.  I bent down as best I could and scooped one up.  I put it in a teranium for the kids to play with and observe.  Amanda named him "Whino."

Then, some thirty minutes later, I went into labor.

I came out with baby 40, a big bouncing baby boy!  I named him Keaon Bell after Kaleb Bell's father (had Keaon been a girl and I would have named her Catherine after Kaleb's mother or Bell after their last name).

Our family photo with out new addition.  Sorry I'm not looking again.

FAMILY UPDATE

Beaumont decided to not have children.  He moved in with his father, Ugh Ooomph!, and together they started a small business selling party supplies and paintings that they made.  It has been quite successful and their business is currently running very smoothly.

NOTE

I've decided to not only thank people in the Thank You! page above and also at the end of my posts.  That way the people with the great idea I'm using get as much credit as possible.  Anyways, they deserve it.  So here goes:

I want to give a big thanks to Sims Fan for the family photo idea.  It's awesome and makes for a great conclusion to the posts.  I also find it very helpful on her blog to know exactly who the current sims in the household are.  I hope you as a reader finds this as comvenient as I believe it to be.

I'd also like to thank Catherine Bell for her 66th son, Kaleb, as father of baby 40, Keaon (visit her challenge/legacy).  I guess I should also say thank you for Keaon's name.  I just love it.  It's so unique that I just had to use it.  Plus it's kind of a tradition for me to use the name of the father of the father.

Please comment on what you think.  I'm trying to write a little better so I hope I've succeeded.  I have always had trouble with tenses and trying to make things make sense.  I hope you liked it!!!
