Baby 40

Our first family photo ever (sorry I'm not looking, one of the boys was not behaving well).  Right after birthdays this time around I got one of the maids to snap this photo of everyone in the family.

Amanda, baby 39, didn't get any of her father's genes.  She had blue hair and blue eyes.

Beaumont became a young adult.

All the kids spent a lot of quality time doing the things they wanted to do before the new school year started.  The twin boys pursued their writing career.  To challenge them, I had given them a topic to write about.  I couldn't wait to read the two versions they would come up with.

Dawn worked on her cooking skills.

The entire family tried it.  The mac and cheese was a little bit dry but we all survived and told her it was great.  With that, she gave us a big smile and stood up a little straighter.

She and I cleaned up after the meal.  She was starting to get into mechanics so she helped me by fixing the dishwasher while I mopped the floor.

Like her father, Blake Sumner, Amanda was the happiest toddler there was.  She was constantly smiling and when she wasn't, she was laughing instead [I love this picture because a) it's super cute, b) it's super adorable, and c) who could resist a face like that?  Although, now that I look at it, it looks like she's angry].

I called up the son of a good friend of mine:  Catherine Bell.  Her 66th baby, Kaleb Bell, was who I was calling.

Kaleb had recently joined the army so he had shaved off all his long brown hair.  He had beautiful green eyes that looked like the color green that ran in my family [He used to look like this on my game.  Sorry Catherine, I didn't have the hair you made him have so I had to change it.  Then when I had deleted all of my CC the mohawk I made him have above was deleted and I forgot to change it/didn't realize I had to change it until I took the pictures].

I drove over to the adress he had spoken of.  There were many people there [do you recognize any of them?  They'll come up later...] so we took out business elsewhere.

He was very muscular (I think I saw Harold staring at Kaleb's biceps as we walked in).

"So, what's it like being the product of a baby challenge?"  I asked.

"It's okay now.  More people are used to the idea so it's not as strange as it used to be."  He replied.

It was a satisfying answer.

Jeez, enough with the chitchat.  He doesn't want to here it I scolded myself.

"Let's get to it,"  I said as I gave him a big hug.  He was warm and his chest was hard.  I could feel his heart beating underneath all that muscle.  Suddenly, he knocked me off my legs and scooped me up in his grasp as I clung on to dear life.  No one had done that before.  Pretty soon I trusted him and loosened up.  He was so stable and strong.  I could wait to get his clothes off and see what was underneath.

He carried me a short distance to the bed and gently set me down, kissing my forehead.  Then he lay down next to me and we proceded very lovingly I must say.

He left late that night.  As he was leaving I said, "wait!" and he stopped.  I had intended to give him a little good-bye kiss but it ended up being a full blown making out session on the front deck.  Finally, I was able to pull away and say good-bye properly.

Right when I walked in I was greeted by a grumpy, hungry baby.  Amanda threw a huge fit.  She was quite unhappy that I had taken so long.

I expertly consoled her and gave her a bottle of chocolate milk as an apology.  She accepted and guzzled it down.

I was very tired.  The kids were already going to sleep and it was nearly 11:30 p.m.

I aimlessly put Amanda to sleep and fell into my own bed when the clock struck midnight.

Unfortunately, me sleep was inturrupted at 3 by a mysterious clattering noise.  Cautiously I walked outside and saw a glimpse of someone or something walking into the garage.  A robber.

I quickly dialed 911 and the police were on their way.  Unfortunately they were a tad bit late and the robber, coincidentally name Robbie Bland stole my car!

As Robbie was walking away the police finally came.  Her name was Tia Rose.

She and the robber had a huge fight.  Unfortunately again, the robber won!  I was quite aggravated.  I was tired, it was 3 in the morning, there was a robber, and the police couldn't even do anything about it??  I began to question the police force of Sunset Valley.  They weren't that good were they?

Go after him!  I screamed in my head to Tia, who just stood there watching Robbie run away with my car.

Tia just stood there and then came up to me apoligetically.

"I'm sorry ma'am.  I couldn't get the robber this time but next time we'll see."  She said.

Next time?  Oh, there won't be a next time I thought angrily.  But I was too tired to complain.  I answered some of her dumb questions, assured her that I was all right, and went to bed.  I didn't even think twice about asking for some money to pay for the stolen car and she didn't give any.

I walked like a zombie into bed and fell asleep before my head had even hit the pillow.  All I remember thinking was that I hoped that kids hadn't heard or seen any of that.

My slumber was interupted this time by Amanda's screams for breakfast.  It's only 5 o'clock!  You didn't even sleep that long!  I made a mental note to put her to bed very early tonight.

But I somehow woke up anyway and fed her her a jar of mush.

I drank a cup of coffee which helped dramatically.  I was able to play with Amanda and I didn't feel tired.

"How's my little darling?  Huh?  You're so cute!  You're so cute!"  She laughed and it made me feel so warm inside.

I was even awake enough to play with her.  But somewhere inside of my brain I knew that I'd have a meltdown sometime.  I just didn't know when.

I was going to town to buy a housewarming gift for a new family who had recently moved in.

I was greeted by a beautiful woman.  Her name was Hannah Bryson.  She had a husband named James Bryson.  They apparently had two children, teens actually.  Their names were Bill and Hayley.  I soon found out that they went to school with Dawn and Harold.

Hannah spoke.  "Are you by any chance related to Dawn and Harold Smith?"  She asked me.
I told her yes.  "Wow!  My kids are dating your kids, did you know that?"

"No... I didn't.  Wow, that's cool.  Twins dating twins, huh?"  I truthfully wasn't very surprised about this.  In fact I had just assumed that my twins would start dating sometime.

"Yeah, that's pretty neat."  She replied surprised by my 'coolness' at the situation.

Suddenly the front door flew open and my teens and the bryson teens showed the very proof that they were together.  Gosh, they didn't even seem to know (or care) that I was standing within 10 feet away from them.

They did notice. Dawn smild and Harold winked at me.  They knew that it was alright with me.  Heck, I was woohooing with a bunch of different men.  There was nothing bad about a little crush for them.  Also, they had good grades so I was perfectly okay with them dating the Bryson twins.

After chatting for a while we left for home.  The teens still had to do their homework.  While making making a late dinner I overheard the conversation going on between Dawn and Clarensis:

Dawn:  Ugh!!  I can't get the correct answer to this problem.
Clarensis:  What's the problem?  I bet I could try.
Dawn:  I don't think you'll understand it.  I'm in AP stats, what makes you think you'll get it?
Clarensis:  Well, at school everyone calls me the 'math genius.'  It shouldn't be that bad.
Dawn:  Well... okay.  It's about hypothesis testing.  I am having trouble figuring out the correct hypothesis test for this problem.  I can't tell if it is a 2 sample z-test of a 2 sample t-test.  It's so hard.  And my test is next monday!  I just can't remember the formulas either.  Why did I sign up for this class?
Clarensis: ....
Dawn:  Clarensis?  What do you think?
Clarensis:  BRAIN NOT FUNCTIONING.  MALFUNCTION.  MALFUNCTION.  SHUTTING DOWN.
Dawn:   I assume that's a no then? (laughs)
Clarensis:  YES.
Calista from the kitchen:  Mr. Robot, I think it is best that you come and set the table if you can't do the homework.
Clarensis:  Coming mom!  (to Dawn)  Wow, am I glad I'm not in that class.
Dawn(laughs again)  Yeah!  You're so lucky.  I just hope I actually pass the exam.  Just go and set the table like mom asked.

[Sorry about the math related talk, I just took AP stats in school so I was trying to "use what I've learned" and sort of "apply it to real life" as the teachers always tell us to do].

A few seconds later Clarensis appeared at my side with a confused and relieved expression on his face.  I guess Dawn was getting tired of math because she went into my bedroom for an hour even after I told her dinner was ready. When she finally came out she told me that she had needed a makeover.

"When in doubt, give yourself a makeover" was her motto.

"Well, just make sure you go finish your homework after dinner missy."  I said in a teasing tone.

Harold took care of Amanda that night.  Amanda just giggled.  She was so proud to have her handsome big brother take care of her.

Afterward she pranced around the dining table repeating "Bwother Hawold wuvs me!  Bwother Hawold wuvs me!" while Harold cleaned up her high chair.  She was so cute!

The next day I found a group of rhino beetles walking around outside on our deck.  I bent down as best I could and scooped one up.  I put it in a teranium for the kids to play with and observe.  Amanda named him "Whino."

Then, some thirty minutes later, I went into labor.

I came out with baby 40, a big bouncing baby boy!  I named him Keaon Bell after Kaleb Bell's father (had Keaon been a girl and I would have named her Catherine after Kaleb's mother or Bell after their last name).

Our family photo with out new addition.  Sorry I'm not looking again.

FAMILY UPDATE

Beaumont decided to not have children.  He moved in with his father, Ugh Ooomph!, and together they started a small business selling party supplies and paintings that they made.  It has been quite successful and their business is currently running very smoothly.

NOTE

I've decided to not only thank people in the Thank You! page above and also at the end of my posts.  That way the people with the great idea I'm using get as much credit as possible.  Anyways, they deserve it.  So here goes:

I want to give a big thanks to Sims Fan for the family photo idea.  It's awesome and makes for a great conclusion to the posts.  I also find it very helpful on her blog to know exactly who the current sims in the household are.  I hope you as a reader finds this as comvenient as I believe it to be.

I'd also like to thank Catherine Bell for her 66th son, Kaleb, as father of baby 40, Keaon (visit her challenge/legacy).  I guess I should also say thank you for Keaon's name.  I just love it.  It's so unique that I just had to use it.  Plus it's kind of a tradition for me to use the name of the father of the father.

Please comment on what you think.  I'm trying to write a little better so I hope I've succeeded.  I have always had trouble with tenses and trying to make things make sense.  I hope you liked it!!!

  2. The family photo thing truly is a good idea. I can never get my family together in one shot, so I abandoned that idea myself. This definitely was a great post. :) Ten to go to halfway!

Also, quick question about the fathers.. There, in the background of one of the screens, is that Duncan? :D

    stagestar10 - Thanks! I hope I'm improving.

Destiny - I use moveobjects on to get the sims to stand together for the family photo. And yes, in the picture where Calista is talking to Kaleb that is Duncan in the background. He's up next to be the father of baby 41 so stay tuned!

  5. Summer Sky - I use the gadget called "Links" and I copy the links from each of my posts into the "Links" gadget. The gadget is pretty self-explanitory but if you need help just ask! I hope this helps.

P.S. I'm sad they got robbed too. It was very unfortunate, but it gave me a good story!
